Ray Day has been guiding and serving clients for decades with their planning and investing needs. He has mentored Melanie Tanaka throughout her career and applies his intellectual capital for the benefit of all clients and associates at Legacy Financial Group.
Ray holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree from the University of Santa Monica. He has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 1987, is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, and has been a Registered Financial Consultant® since 1995. He is a member of The American MENSA Society and was admitted to The Registry of Financial Planning Practitioners, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Ray has also been profiled in Marquis’ “Who’s Who in Finance and Industry”.
Ray and his wife Donna have lived in Rancho Palos Verdes since 1975. He is an active supporter of the National Endowment for Financial Education, the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, and the Norris Center for the Performing Arts. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Disaster Communications Service and is an active amateur radio operator. Ray also enjoys international travel, photography and scuba driving.
