Melanie Tanaka, CFP®
Managing Director and Founding Partner
“When I was 10 years old, my parents divorced, and my mom and I went through a lot. I remember thinking then that I wanted to be independent financially; to not rely on others for financial support. Today, I’m passionate about helping others gain financial clarity and attain financial independence.”
For more than 25 years, Melanie Tanaka has used the premise of “what would I tell my mother” to inspire her work with others. Knowing she has made a difference helping people see clearly into their futures and plan for retirement is very gratifying. Focusing on retirement, income planning, lifestyle planning, inheritance and financial recovery, she has worked with clients at various stages in their lives, developing relationships based on trust, support, and ultimately, friendship.
