Ann Cooper, CFP ®
“I came to the financial field from a career in corporate finance that included working with qualified plans. I’m excited to now be a part of the personal financial planning field and look forward to working with clients every day. Every client brings something new to our firm and I love the challenge of helping them map out a plan for themselves.”
Ann Cooper is inspired by the ability to work with numbers and finance, and especially, helping people with those numbers. She works with new and existing clients to prepare financial plans that meet their current goals and future plans, and helps them determine when to claim Social Security benefits. Helping clients prepare to retire and then seeing them realize their goals are about to pay off is satisfying.
Working with clients pre-retirement and post-retirement to help them adjust to their new financial reality she considers an equally important role.
Ann has a BS in Finance from Boston University, a MBA from Cal State Long Beach and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) since 2015. She is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association, Los Angeles Chapter.
Though she grew up in the Pacific Northwest, Ann and her husband Victor raised their son and daughter in Torrance and have lived here for more than 30 years. Avid snow skiers while at home, the couple also enjoys travel and has been to New Zealand, Southern Italy and Sicily, Chile, Argentina, and Spain.
